Also, the disk works fine on the Wii and it barely has any scratches. I then start up SSBB, and I get the safety information screens,īut then it crashes just as the screen turns black and has the "Now Loading" message on the bottom right.īefore you guys say that I need to rip again because it was a bad rip, take into account that I've done this four times so far with SSBB. I then copy the files to a folder in my hard drive,Īnd I open up Dolphin 5.0-rc-19 and it shows up in the games list. I look in my flash drive, and this is what I see:
#Super smash bros melee rom 1.02 not working on dolphin full#
Here's a full parts list for my computer: I pull the flash drive out of my Wii and put it into my computer. I then exit Cleanrip, exit the Homebrew Channel and turn off my Wii. When it's done ripping, this message appears: I set it to read a dual layer disk, set the chunk size to max and set it so it doesn't use a new device per chunk. I set the device type as USB, my filesystem as FAT, and then I select "Yes" when it says it hasn't found DAT files and asks me if I want to download them. I turn on the Wii with my flash drive (16 GB) already in the USB port, start the Homebrew Channel and load Cleanrip v 2.0.0. Here's my whole process so you guys can figure out what I'm doing wrong: Basically, I rip the game using my Wii, put the files on my computer and then try running them using dolphin, only to have it crash right after the safety information.
